Principal Frank Wiggins is in his seventh year leading Youngsville Elementary School. The native of Kinston, NC is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill receiving a Bachelor of Arts in History. He earned his Master’s in School Administration from East Carolina University. Mr. Wiggins has thirty years of experience in education, having served as a social studies teacher, coach, assistant principal and principal. Mr. Wiggins completed both the Principal Executive and Distinguished Leaders in Practice programs through NCPAPA. He resides in Henderson, NC with his wife Sandra and they have three grown children. Mr. Wiggins enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and taking care of his dogs, Duncan and Archie. Mr. Wiggins shared that “Youngsville Elementary is a great school with an incredible culture. It is a school where students want to be. The faculty and staff are dedicated and go the extra mile. I would not want to be anywhere else.”

Mrs. Trenace Gilmore

Mrs. Trenace Gilmore

Born and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC, Mrs. Gilmore moved to North Carolina in January of 2001 to begin her teaching career. She taught 3rd grade for four years before leaving Louisburg Elementary briefly to take care of her children. Mrs. Gilmore returned to Louisburg Elementary in November of 2006 and has remained since. Mrs. Gilmore served as Assistant Principal at Louisburg Elementary for over two years, and before that as a Curriculum Resource Teacher and fifth-grade teacher. In addition to her experience in school leadership and in the classroom, she holds a Master’s Degree in School Administration from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston, Charleston, S.C. 

When Mrs. Gilmore is not spending her time at school, she enjoys spending time with her family, church and going on adventures.
