Biography
Mrs. Brown has been teaching for 13 years and 12 of those years have been in
the fifth-grade classroom. Her family is originally from the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, where she earned her Bachelors degree in Sociology and license in Elementary Education at Marymount University. Mrs. Brown loves teaching 5th grade science and tapping into her students curiosity. She looks forward to another amazing year at Youngsville.

Mrs. Kari Dupree has been working for FCS for 26 years. She has her Bachelor's degree from Pembroke State University. She has her Master's Degree in reading from Gardner-Webb University. She is excited to be teaching 4th grade this year (self-contained). Mrs. Dupree lives in White Level with her husband and her dogs and cats. She has two adult children, ages 23 and 29.

Biography
Ms. Hedgepeth graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2009 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Secondary Mathematics. After teaching for a few years she continued her education through UNCP in 2016 when she received her masters degree in Education. In her spare time Ms. Hedgepeth volunteers with a local rescue group to help find homes for homeless shelter dogs. She is a product of NC public schools and is very excited to give back to the same system.
