Instructional Assistants

Mrs. Bowden has been with Youngsville Elementary School since 2017. She is married, has 2 children and loves animals. In her spare time she loves to be on the boat fishing with her family or at the beach searching for shells and shark teeth. She has worked with children of all ages. Mrs. Bowden works with K-5 students in the STEAM/ STEM program. She loves watching the children learn new things. She is looking forward to a fun and exciting school year.

An Instructional Assistant and Bus Driver at Youngsville Elementary, where I have dedicated nearly 30 years of service. Starting in February, I will celebrate three decades of supporting and nurturing students. With an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, I've been passionate about helping children since the age of 12. My long-standing commitment to education and care, I feel that I have made a lasting impact on the Youngsville community and families.

Ms. Linda is a residence of Franklin County. She was educated in the Franklin County School System. She furthered her education at Vance-Granville Communty College with an AAS degree in Early Childhood. Ms. Linda love the God, and minister after work hours. Ms. Linda love children as much as she love God. She believe that the children are definitely our future. She believe that it is her professional duty to provide them with the foundation to begin their future. Ms. Linda is a family person. Her children and grandchildren are the center of her life. That goes to prove her love for other children.

Mrs.Kimble is excited to join YES! She worked in Vance county school systems from February of 2022 to the end of 2023 before joining YES in January of 2024. Before entering into public schools Mrs.Kimble worked in Early childhood education for 5 years. Mrs.Kimble grew up in Franklin county before her dad joined the military. She loves coffee, traveling, spending time with her husband and son, going on hikes, and the beach. She has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and hopes to one day have her own farm.

Mrs. Kesterson studied at the College of Charleston. She has been married 36 years and has three grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family and her pets.
