Kindergarten

Mrs. Morella Ivey is thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten at Youngsville Elementary where the Jr. Jags rock! She is a graduate of Ashford University where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education Administration in 2019. She then went on to complete her Masters in Early Childhood Education Leadership in 2020. Mrs. Ivey has 4 years of experience in the preschool arena and is now ready to expand her reach as part of the kindergarten team here at YES. She is married to her husband, Joseph, who is also a Franklin County 2nd grade Teacher at Louisburg Elementary. Together they have 4 boys and 1 Shih Tzu named Minnie who is spoiled rotten. In her spare time she loves fishing, crafting, and baking. Mrs. Ivey is looking forward to a great year that’s full of growth and adventure. She is committed to providing a learning environment that is fun, safe, nurturing, and full of enriched content. Her goal is to provide each child with the necessary tools and resources so that they each can maximize their potential.

Laura is a Kindergarten teacher at Youngsville Elementary School, where she enhances children's experiences in their first year of school.She is motivated by her love of teaching and learning and aspires to be a mentor to future teachers.
Laura graduated from UNCG with a degree in Integrated Professional Studies and went on to pursue a teaching degree. During that time, she developed strong communication skills, honed in on teaching strategies, and developed her teaching style. Her background in early childhood education makes her especially adept at teaching at the Kindergarten level.
In the future, Laura looks forward to completing licensure and spending many years teaching kindergarten students.

Miss Will has been teaching Kindergarten for most of her teaching career. She has been at Youngsville Elementary School since 2019 and was honored with being Teacher of the Year at Y.E.S in 2022. She loves coming to school each day to spread the enthusiasm of learning to her students. Favorite quote: "Everything I ever learned, I learned in Kindergarten."

Mrs. Williams has been a Kindergarten teacher at YES for over 5 years now! Prior to YES, she was an Instructional Assistant and Bus Driver with FCS for 5 years. Mrs. Williams has a daughter, Ella Mae, who attends YES. She has been married to her husband for 12 years! Mrs. Williams enjoys spending time with her family and making memories. She strives to be a Kindergarten teacher whose students enjoy learning and growing with, while also delivering effective lessons to her students in order to help them reach their educational goals.
