Ms. Harris is the art teacher at Youngsville Elementary School. She is a native of Franklin County and Bunn High School Alum. Ms. Harris attended Meredith College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. Her goal as an art teacher is to make all of her students feel welcomed and loved in a safe environment. When she is not teaching, she enjoys crafting, watching hockey (Go Canes!), and going to the beach.

Mrs. Spicer received her Associates degree in music performance (1992) in Northern New York where she and her husband are from. She went back to school and received her Bachelor’s degree in music education in 2016 from Meredith College, NC. She has been a substitute teacher for Franklin County Schools for 10 years before starting her full time teaching position at YES. She taught music 1 year in Wake County and came aboard YES in
September of 2018.
She loves to spend time with her husband, three sons, daughter, daughter-n-law, three grandchildren and four "Furbabies." She also enjoys riding bikes, walking, visiting family in other states, and, of course, music! All types of music, but especially teaching music to YES Jr. Jags!
