Jag Update

We are only 3.5 days away from our fall track out.  I am very proud of the efforts of students and staff during the first quarter and I hope everyone enjoys the break. 

Thursday, September 18 is an early release day.  School will dismiss at 11:45 am.  If your child is a car rider, please make sure that he or she is picked up by 12:00 pm.  Buses will depart campus at 12:00 pm.  An adult must be at the stop to receive students in grades K-3.  Our after school program will operate on Thursday until 6:00 pm.

Thursday, September 18 is also the end of the first quarter grading period.  Report cards for the first nine weeks will be sent home when we return from track out.  The date for report cards is Thursday, October 16. 

Fall track out begins for students on Friday, September 19 and will run through Friday, October 10.  Students return to school on Monday, October 13. 

Friday, September 19 will be Mr. Latelle Williams' last day at YES.  I want to thank Mr. Williams for his exceptional work as our assistant principal the last three years.  He has contributed much to our school's success and he will be missed.
