Extended Learning
At YES, we are committed to helping every student grow and succeed. One of the ways we provide extra support is through our Extended Learning Weeks, which take place twice each year—once in the fall and once in the spring. These weeks provide invited students with additional time to strengthen skills, build confidence, and receive targeted instruction in a supportive, small-group environment.
What is Extended Learning?
Extended Learning is a focused tutoring opportunity for selected students in grades K–5. Teachers use this time to revisit important standards, provide extra practice, and help students prepare for upcoming learning and assessments. Instruction is hands-on, engaging, and tailored to meet student needs.
2025–2026 Extended Learning Dates
- Fall Session: October 6–10, 2025
- Spring Session: March 23–27, 2026
Extended Learning Logistics
Daily Schedule (Monday–Friday):
- Car Rider Drop-off Begins: 7:15 AM
- Breakfast: 7:15–7:45 AM
- Tutoring Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Transportation: Buses will run for assigned students.
